Tempus Law, AZB act on PAG’s USD200m packaging acquisition

Tempus Law Associates and AZB & Partners have assisted parties involved in private equity firm PAG acquiring a majority stake in pharmaceuticals packaging company Pravesha Industries for USD200 million.

Co-founder and co-managing partner Sundari R Pisupati led the Tempus transaction team, representing Pravesha Industries and its promoters. Associate partner Raghav Agarwal, senior associates Sindhu Akella and Bhaskar Rekapalli, associate Nisha Agarwal and company secretary Rasika Jhawar were also team members.

Pravesha is a leading packaging company, producing more than 15,000 metric tonnes of plastic bottles, closures and drums, along with more than two billion cartons, labels, and leaflets annually for major pharmaceutical companies in India. Around 95% of its products are in developed markets, including the US and Europe.
